The new Frog Lake First Nation high school serves 200 students, providing relief from the overcrowding at the current school and accommodating the growing student population. The new high school was an addition to the existing community recreation center.
Mercer Mass Timber manufactured and supplied 5-ply mass timber structural components and associated hardware for the school’s front entrance canopy. The canopy comprises 5 panels, and the edges had to be cut precisely to ensure the appearance of a continuous curve.
