A trained architect with 27 years of experience, Andrew has served as the project architect and manager for high-profile projects such as several SkyTrain stations in Vancouver — Renfrew, Rupert, and Commercial Drive — all of which prominently feature mass timber structures.
For the last 13 years, he has focused his mass timber expertise on public projects, including managing the 2010 Olympic curling venue’s conversion into the Hillcrest Community Centre and Aquatic Centre, also known for mass timber construction. Andrew’s project management portfolio spans residential and commercial high-rises, demolition, and structural enhancements for public facilities such as skating rinks, piers, and marinas. Most recently, he directed the design and project management of a custom home with a hybrid steel-wood frame and cross-laminated timber roof.
