Brent serves as the technical leader for three factories, overseeing product production and testing. He brings over 25 years of experience to his role, encompassing material production, quality control, product and process development, materials research, and product certification within the forest products and building component sectors.
His comprehensive background in building products includes producing laminated veneer lumber at Willamette Industries, formulating adhesives and providing technical support at Borden Chemical, managing research and development in fenestration and doors at JELD-WEN, as well as conducting bio-based composite research in academic and industrial settings at Washington State University.
