Andre manages all aspects of manufacturing operations for Mercer Mass Timber, spanning project coordination, quality control, detailing, lumber procurement, and maintenance across all three factory locations. Before his tenure at MMT, Andre had a successful career at Structurlam, where he started in 2001 in the detailing department. While at Structurlam, Andre was instrumental in procuring new equipment and designing and executing all expansion projects.
Andre represents MMT on various industry building code panels and is widely recognized as a leading expert in cross-laminated timber and glulam manufacturing. In addition to his operational roles, Andre is also a trained master carpenter. He honed his skills at the SISH in Biel, Switzerland, TS Holzbau. His journey in the glulam industry began in 1994 with Sprenger Soehne Holzbau in Switzerland, giving him a deep-rooted understanding of the field.
